WE BELONG: COMMUNITY LED ART MURALS

Help us shape the 1st Community led mural

Something beautiful is taking shape in the Hemet.

Healthy Valley Foundation – alongside City of Hemet, Altura Credit Union, Riverside Arts Council, and Hemet Valley Art Association - are proud to launch the Valley’s first-ever community-led public mural — a project rooted in belonging, creativity, revitalization of downtown, and neighborhood voice.

More than public art, this mural is about who we are as a community and how we come together to shape the spaces we share.

    Senior Stability Alliance

Next Senior Summit - April 2026

Our first Senior Summit in November 2025 provided same-day services to over 150 older adults.

Senior Summits  are a gathering that goes beyond a typical resource fair.

Together, we aim to build an economic safety net village to age in place—a space where seniors/older adults can be in stable housing, know their rights, feel supported, reduce isolation, and discover meaningful ways to engage in a thriving future.

    Our History

The collective determined three pilot solutions based on best practices for Healthy Valley Foundation to invest its time and procure resources for.  It would be to establish an upstream strategy by coordinating quarterly meetings with local, county, regional, and state stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and to gather further insight and perspective AND developing on the ground committees for short and long-term objectives which include older adult voices and caregivers, for the Alliance’s identified three core objectives:

    • Strengthen the collaborative through quarterly convenings and active committee structures
    • Host Economic Safety Net Summits (Senior Summits) to provide direct, on-site support and empower civic engagement
    • Develop a senior-focused Shared Housing Pilot with benevolent landlords and certified facilitators
