IMPACT

OUR PILLARS

COLLECTIVE IMPACT

We serve as the “glue” that unites our community around shared goals, facilitating collaboration, monitoring progress, and fostering learning.

Current Initiatives:

  • March of the Mastodons: Collaborating with the City of Hemet and Hemet Art Alliance to integrate arts, culture, and history with economic development.
  • Senior Stability Alliance: Convening experts and legislators to prevent senior homelessness.
  • Leadership and influence: Engaging in efforts like the IE Vital Conditions Network, Inland Coalition on Aging, and Inland Empire’s Children’s Cabinet.

ACCESS TO CARE

We strive to ensure everyone has access to services that promote health and prevent disease.

Current Initiatives:

  • PulsePoint: Increasing survival rates for sudden cardiac arrest through CPR training, AED availability, and community awareness.
  • Transportation Advocacy: Leading efforts to improve accessible transportation for enhanced quality of life.

UPWARD SOCIAL MOBILITY

We create pathways to lifelong learning and meaningful work, connecting businesses, mentors, and young people for a brighter future.

Current Partners:

  • Hemet Unified School District
  • Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC)
  • UCR School of Education
  • Growing Inland Achievement

DATA-DRIVEN ACTION

OUR COMMITMENT FOR THRIVING FOR ALL

We are dedicated to advancing health equity for all people in the San Jacinto Valley. We prioritize collaboration with individuals and organizations across diverse backgrounds, ensuring everyone—regardless of ethnicity, income, or gender identity—has the opportunity to achieve measurable health success.

Our approach is rooted in culturally competent practices, an inclusive environment, and the principles of collective impact. Key strategies guiding our equity work include:

1. Grounding efforts in data and targeting solutions.

2. Focusing on systems change alongside programs and services.

3. Shifting power within collaborations.

4. Listening to and acting with the community.

5. Building equity-focused leadership and accountability.

We acknowledge that this is an ongoing journey, and we strive to remain intentional and transparent. Our commitments include:

- Identifying and dismantling inequities within policies, systems, and programs, while tracking progress.

- Promoting open, inclusive communication and addressing assumptions that hinder equity.

- Expanding diverse leadership reflective of the communities we serve.

- Utilizing empathy, education, and empowerment to guide our efforts.

We embrace continuous learning and growth as we build a “Thriving for All” framework that shapes our policies, practices, and collaborations. Through intentional action, we aim to create a more equitable future for all.
